won the International BoatBuilders' Exhibition and Conference (IBEX) Innovation Award for Safety Equipment for the Boating Safety App "Boat Essentials-USCG Safety Gear." The award was announced on September 17, 2013 at IBEX in Louisville, Kentucky. The free app is a simple checklist for boaters to identify the required and recommended safety items to have on board. at Port Covington Maritime Center in Baltimore, Maryland, was named winner of the 2012 Maryland Clean Marina contest in the large boatyard category. The business was commended by the Dept. of Natural Resources for taking steps to protect the environment.
