Chesapeake Bay Magazine's Talk of the Bay

The wait is over; it’s time to announce the winners of Chesapeake Bay Magazine's annual Best of the Bay Reader Survey and Photo Contest! This year's survey was taken by over 1,500 readers, and gives a great deal of insight into the Bay's best cruising destinations, businesses, restaurants, fishing spots and more. And accompanying as always are the winners of our photo contest, which illustrate just perfectly what makes the Bay the best place to be! Check out the winners here.

That's not all, folks. In the June issue our editors recall some of their favorite trips to Baltimore, and we revisit the goings on around the Bay 200 years ago, when the British Royal Navy was raiding and pillaging towns all over the Chesapeake. Jody Schroath also takes you along on her trip to the quiet but lovely East River off Mobjack Bay, and to Sassafras Harbor Marina in Georgetown, Md.

And finally, our June Calendar of Events is filled with plenty of fun festivals and summer parties, giving you plenty of great ideas of how to kick off your summer boating season. We hope it's a great one!
